Children of Chernobyl Hosts Children At Heart Gala Dinner and Celebrity Fantasy Auction in NYC

New York, NY, November 25, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The theme of this year’s Children at Heart Gala Dinner and Celebrity Fantasy Auction, hosted by Children of Chernobyl (CCOC), is “Time Flies” which will mark the Chernobyl disaster’s 27th anniversary and the continuous work of CCOC. The star-studded event will include a celebrity roster of attendees and will feature luxury auction items. CCOC has rescued 2,863 children on 99 rescue missions, airlifting them from Chernobyl to Israel to escape the contaminated living conditions caused by the 1986 Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor explosion. This holiday season, celebrities and New York’s elite have once again committed to this cause in full force, donating time, money and auction items. Last year’s gala raised millions to save the Children of Chernobyl. Bridget O’Brien PR and Events is helping promote this event.

Honorees include Academy and Golden Globe award-winning actor Jon Voight who will host the Children at Heart gala honoring Liev Schreiber. Founding Board Member of CCOC, Producer and sister of famed director Steven Spielberg, Nancy Spielberg will also be in attendance to host the event. Emmy Award-winning WNBC-TV sportscaster Bruce Beck will serve as auctioneer. Additional celebrity attendees include: Elie Tahari, Dmitriy Salita, Yuri Foreman, and Josh Sussman.
