#TakeYourSeat Annual Auction and Dinner Honors Portland Business Women and Benefits Oregon Non-Profit Project Lemonade
Portland, OR, November 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Portland Female Executives (PDXFX.ORG) and Thoroughly Modern Marketing (TMMPDX.COM) have partnered this year to present ‘A Seat at the Table,’ a silent auction and dinner designed to further the cause of a local charity. The 2013 event will be held in downtown Portland, Oregon on December 10 at Irving Street Kitchen, and will benefit Project Lemonade, which provides foster youth of the greater Portland area with a yearly back-to-school shopping experience.
Tickets are extremely limited, so PDXfx encourages those who would like to attend the silent auction and four-course dinner to register at bit.ly/TakeYourSeat. Tickets are $75 each, with online registration required. Donations and sponsorships are also welcomed.
This year, distinguished women from the local Portland area will attend ‘A Seat at the Table’ to share their stories of how they found success - over a delicious dinner menu presented by Irving Street Kitchen’s Executive Chef, Sarah Shafer. These honored female business leaders include:
Stephanie Stricklen, KGW News Anchor
Sadie Lincoln, Founder and Owner Barre3
Noma Hanlon, CEO & Principal Hanlon Brown Design
Lisa Sedlar, Founder Green Zebra
Victoria Trabosh, Executive Coach
Deena Pierott, President and CEO Mosaic Blueprint
Heidi O’Neill, Nike VP and GM of Women’s Training
Lourri Hammack, LAIKA/house President
“So break out some holiday sparkle for the occasion, and bring a friend, partner, or colleague to participate in some good-natured competitive bidding for a heart-warming cause,” said Raime Merriman, president of Portland Female Executives.
“This is the big event of the year for people to dine and mingle with women of achievement from the Portland area, and hear about their experiences, journeys, and charitable activities at the table they host.
“The event will also make a big difference in our community, since proceeds go toward Project Lemonade, which gives foster children a special day of school shopping they wouldn’t have otherwise.”
