Harvin began his career at Gainer Donnelly and Desroches, LLP, where he became a manager over a ten-year period. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Houston CPA Society, where he serves on various committees.
