Lila Nikole & Simply Productions Present "Fusion" Fashion & Art Show
Fusion art and fashion event benefiting Project Save Imagination will take place during Art Basel 2013 at L.M.N.T. Art Gallery in Midtown
Miami, FL, November 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Lila Nikole, fashion designer for upscale swimwear line Lila Nikole Collection, and Jessica Marquez, owner of Simply Productions, will host the second annual fundraiser, Fusion art and fashion event on Thursday, Dec. 5, from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m., at the L.M.N.T Art Gallery, located at 59 NW 36 St., in Midtown. The event will benefit Project Save Imagination, a foundation that supports students with an avid interest in the arts and music but lack the funds or opportunities to pursue their dreams.
“The goal of Project Save Imagination is to raise fund for underprivileged children and boost public arts programs that have suffered from budget cuts,” said Lila Nikole. “Without art, music, fashion and theater, these students are unable to fully realize their greatness and potential. Project Save Imagination grants them that opportunity.”
Taking place during Art Basel 2013, “Fusion” is a funky, fashion-forward mash-up fundraiser that will combine enthralling live musical performances, an art to wear fashion show, fine art and photography gallery displays, and the attendance of top models, trend setters and celebrities. Lila Nikole will reveal her new collection inspired by Frida Kahlo, mexican folk art and Dia De Los Muertos.
The event will be hosted by Aisha Thalia. Music will be provided by DJ Affect, Mobius 8, DJ Mad Linx and Jo’zzy. Participating artist is Aaron Maybin. Photography display is by Derick G. Throughout the event, there will be fashion exhibits from the Lila Nikole Collection. The event is sponsored by Affect Made and Aveda.
Event proceeds will Project Save Imagination, with monies raised helping to advance sponsorship and implementation of art integration in impoverished communities and schools. $10 donations are requested at the door or pre-sale at www.saveimagination.org/donations-and-sponsorship.
