South Pasadena, CA, November 29, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Evo 2x Big 50cc Powerboard from Puzey Motor Corp reaches top speeds of up to 35 mph, with a 50 cc, two stroke engine putting out a full two horsepower, making it one of the fastest and most responsive gas scooters on the market today. The Evo 2x's EPA-approved, air cooled engine has a conveniently located pull starter, and riders can expect a 20 mile range per tank, depending on the terrain being ridden and rider weight.
Puzey designed a unique 2-speed belt drive transmission for the Evo 2x, driving a chain connected to the rear wheel. When needed, its One-Touch Tensioning allows the rider to tighten the drive chain with one simple and easy action, all without having to align the rear wheel.
Shifting is a breeze with the convenient handlebar-mounted thumb shifter. The throttle itself is a comfortable variable speed twist control that is immediately responsive to the rider's touch.
Coming to a full stop quickly and smoothly is not an issue, as the Evo Powerboard 2x has front and rear vented disc brakes, which are operated by aluminum brake levers. Unique features include a front “Cam-Link” suspension that offers a smooth ride and excellent resistance when landing after jumps.
The Evo 2x Big's frame is a high tensile steel, with a CNC aluminum deck. The handlebars are a sporty MX style, with height and position fully adjustable to accommodate any size rider.
Turning is super responsive. The 11” pneumatic knobby tires grip the dirt and move the rider forward easily.
For comfort, the scooter has a fully padded bicycle-style seat with a fully adjustable post, to accommodate riders of any height. The scooter, coming in at a net weight of just 53 lbs., can carry a 265 lb. rider with ease.
The Evo 2x's standing size is 29” x 24” x 50”, but it can fold down and lock into position at a handy 36” x 24” x 18”.
