Bath, United Kingdom, January 12, 2006 --(PR.com)-- ScienceScope, one of the UK’s leading developers of datalogging equipment that provides technology-based science learning solutions, are introducing a brand new sensor to the Education market. The AC Millivolts Sensor is the first of its kind, to be developed specifically for schools.
It is capable of measuring from a few Millivolts of AC signal from 5 to –75dBu and ±2 AC Volts, with a minimum recording interval of 50µs.
The ScienceScope AC Millivolt sensor offers outstanding performance allowing the investigation of the frequency response of both simple RC networks and complex circuits using the dBu level range. Using the AC Volts wave range offers the opportunity to measure the form of any AC signal such as the output from a microphone or from a simple AC generator.
It can be used for various experiments such as measuring the frequency response of a circuit. It can be used as a current sensor by measuring the voltage drop across a resistor showing a practical way of demonstrating measurement of electricity, resistance of electrical devices and circuits. Leading you onto discussions of efficiency, energy sources and renewable energy.
