Dr. Rich has over 38 years experience in Radiation Oncology and works at Hampton University Proton Therapy Institute in Hampton, Virginia. He specializes in proton radiation treatment for inoperable lung cancer, liver, pancreatic and rectal cancers, prostate cancer and brain tumors. He is conducting clinical trials with protons as well as the development of “theranostic” nano particles. Dr. Rich obtained a M.D. from the University of Virginia in 1973. In his spare time he enjoys scuba diving, sailing, photography, stone work and golf.
