Fund-Raising Walkathon in Bukit Indah, Johor Bahru
"Walk With Friends 2014" Walkathon will be held in Bukit Indah on 1 March 2014.
Johor Bahru, Malaysia, December 05, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The "Walk With Friends 2014" Committee of Church of Praise Bukit Indah invites residents of Bukit Indah and Johor Bahru to sign up for their inaugural walkathon to raise funds for Praise Community Services - Praise Family Enrichment Centre at AEON Bukit Indah that provides counselling services to those in distress, and Rainbow House at Nusa Bestari 2 that provides a day-care centre for young children of single mothers who have to struggle between taking care of their young children and working to support their families.
The walkathon will take place at 7am on 1 March 2014, at the Bukit Indah Park. (Big roundabout) .
The "Walk With Friends 2014" committee is actively seeking sponsors for the walkathon and interested parties are encouraged to contact the Chairman, Mr Patrick Hua at 012-7717096 or email him at sponsorship@walkwithfriends2014.org
The registration fee is RM30 for adults and RM15 for children below 12 years old. All participants will receive exclusive collector’s item event T-shirt, a goodie bag and certificate of participation.
To register for walkathon, please contact Paul Chin at +6012 727 5226 or +607 238 3952. After the walkathon there will be a food carnival situated at the basketball court of Bukit Indah Park, starting at 8am with booths selling food as well as fun and games. Admission to the food carnival is free.
