Emeka Rises to #1 on Omaha Music Chart

The feat comes just days after releasing "Rockstar," the first single from his debut album, "Training Camp." Before the release of his popular new song, Emeka had been ranked 80th. Though most of Emeka's 48,000 Twitter followers know him as a fierce defensive lineman from the University of Notre Dame, his music reveals his introspective side. He is highly driven to reach the level of success that eluded his football career. "Training Camp" is inspired by Emeka's life as a college student. Emeka Nwankwo was born in Boston, MA and raised in Miami, FL. He currently resides in Omaha, NE. As a son of Nigerian immigrants, Emeka grew up listening to primarily Nigerian gospel music and Bob Marley, which have influenced his outlook on music and on life.
