Irving Materials, Inc. Appoints Director of Marketing/Business Development

Indianapolis, IN, December 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Irving Materials, Inc., a construction industry material supplier and contractor, announced the appointment of Jason Richmond, 36, as its Director of Marketing and Business Development, a new position within the organization.

Richmond will be responsible for creating and directing corporate-wide marketing and business development programs for IMI Concrete and IMI Aggregates, E&B Paving, Inc. and Specialties Company.

Richmond joins Irving Materials, Inc. from E&B Paving where he most recently served as their business development manager responsible for a wide range of business development and marketing initiatives, including corporate sales and marketing strategies, local office marketing and sales support, corporate communications and customer relationship management programs.

Richmond’s E&B career began in 1995 as a laborer and includes experience in the firm’s Noblesville office as an estimator/project manager. He also previously worked at Floyd Burroughs & Associates as a resident project representative.

A graduate of Anderson University where he earned a bachelor's degree in organizational leadership and a master's in business administration, Richmond is also involved in leadership and volunteer positions for such construction industry groups as the Indiana Construction Association, Build Indiana Council and the Indiana Ready Mix Concrete Association.
