Nolan Living's Killeen Apartment Communities Launch Charitable Giving Initiatives

Killeen, TX, December 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Nolan Real Estate’s Killeen apartment communities have joined forces to help make this year’s Holiday Season more joyful for local area families and kids. From Stockings for Soldiers, to School Supply, Food and Furniture Drives, Nolan Living properties Copper Mountain, Stone Creek and Twin Creek have embraced the concept of giving back and provided the opportunity for their residents to do so as well.

“We truly believe in giving back to the community and supporting our troops who defend our country on a daily basis. We are so proud to be part of this community,” said Stone Creek Property Manager Terry Ochoa. Stone Creek conducted both food and school supply drives this season, and residents crafted a special school supply basket to donate to a local Killeen-area elementary school.

All three Killeen properties recently collaborated to plan and organize Stockings for Soldiers. Residents of Copper Mountain, Stone Creek and Twin Creek all lovingly stuffed over 200 stockings with goodies, toiletries and other treats to be sent to deployed soldiers in Afghanistan.

"Twin Creek’s staff is truly honored to be able to give back to our soldiers this Christmas. We are blessed to walk amongst the bravest heroes daily," said Twin Creek Property Manager Brittney Johnson.

Plans are underway to expand the event next year in support of deployed soldiers and their families. “We are truly blessed to have a leadership team that encourages charitable giving at each Nolan Living property, and throughout the year. At the end of each year, we all get together corporately and celebrate the impact our residents and staff are having right in the communities where they live,” said Tracey Tyler, marketing director for Nolan Real Estate.
