Bend FC Timbers Partner with REP Biomechanics Lab and Rebound Physical Therapy
REP Lab Director Jay Dicharry PT, will assist with FC Timber athlete development through specific strength, power and agility programs. Rebound Physical Therapy joins as “Official PT Provider to the Bend FC Timbers.”
Bend, OR, December 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- REP Lab and Rebound Physical Therapy are proud to announce their partnership with Bend FC Timbers, a member of the Timbers Alliance and top Central Oregon soccer organization.
REP Lab’s Jay Dicharry, PT and his staff plan to enhance athlete development by providing sport-specific conditioning advice, strength, power and conditioning classes as well as one-on-one personal performance optimization to Bend FC Timbers athletes. REP Lab’s goal is to ensure that each player has the opportunity to develop solid baseline athletic skills to minimize injury risk and improve stability, as well as develop sport-specific strength, power, and speed training to improve on-field performance.
According to Jay Dicharry, PT, "The research on strength, power, and agility training in sport is clear: producing more force in a shorter amount of time equates to faster players and reduced injury across the board…knowing and applying the science to training is essential."
Rebound Physical Therapy will be providing Bend FC Timbers athletes the highest level rehabilitative care. Similar to their association with US Ski, Snowboard, and Freeski Teams, Rebound is committed to providing state of the art sports medicine to FC Timbers athletes.
