Cary Dairy Queen Partners with Town of Cary Police Department

Raleigh, NC, December 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Triangle Dairy Queen, the area’s premier provider of delectable treats and foods, has announced that it is teaming up with the Town of Cary Police Department to initiate a community campaign to encourage safety. The “You’ve Been Caught” Campaign is an initiative to award children, ages 10 and younger, who follow the law and practice safety in the community, as well as to encourage safety among young children. Town of Cary Police will be on the lookout for children demonstrating their safety practices, such as obeying traffic and pedestrian laws, wearing helmets when necessary and helping others when needed, in order to award those who have been “caught” being safe. Those awarded for good behavior will receive a token for a free mini Dairy Queen Blizzard of their choice.

This campaign, officially launch in Cary on Thursday, Dec. 5, is designed to promote community-wide safety, especially among local children from nearby elementary and middle schools. Those that receive the award will also be recognized at a Celebrate Safety festival in the spring of 2014.
