Printer Manager Company Makes App Free for Six Months as Christmas Present

Holbaek, Denmark, December 11, 2013 --(PR.com)-- While previously, this service could have cost as much as €3,800 (£3,200 or $5,000) over the course of half a year, 3manager has decided to make its 3viewer application completely free - with a catch.

Participating businesses must provide feedback on how their experience was, as technical experts at the firm are still looking to make the system more usable for people across a wide range of industry backgrounds - including those with little IT experience.

So far, 3viewer has proven vital for a number of businesses. Its simple user interface allows executives to see how efficiently their printer network is being run.

For example, if an area has a well-built, sturdy expensive printer in an area of low traffic and is being under-utilized, while a cheaper, more fragile appliance is being used twice as much as its manufacturer intended, this could cost thousands of dollars a year in maintenance, downtime and procurement costs.

While this problem is traditionally very difficult to solve, all customers have to do with 3viewer is install it and quickly connect the software to their printer network.

Mibson, a cartoon assistant and 3manager's mascot, will then diagnose any problems and tell users exactly how their printer fleet could be made more efficient - potentially saving thousands of dollars.

But while previously networks with more than five printers only had access to a 14-day trial, they will now be able to test out the innovative cost optimization technology for a full-six months before making a purchasing decision.

However, as part of this deal, new users must give feedback as to how the service can be improved and will report back to 3manager support staff on how they benefited from using its services.
