D'Amore Law Group Leads Toy Drive for Foster Children

Lake Oswego, OR, December 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Did you know there are nearly 20,000 children living in foster care in the Northwest at any given time?

With this in mind, Tom D'Amore, managing partner of D'Amore Law Group, has announced that his firm, along with several other local firms, is collecting toys and gift cards for children in foster care through Friday, Dec. 13.

Kids -- from infants to teens -- enter foster care with few or no possessions. They’re away from everything familiar, and the holiday season can be particularly hard. While foster parents are paid a monthly stipend, those funds are totally insufficient to meet all of the needs of a growing child.

But, you can help. The D'Amore Law Group is inviting anyone to stop by the office (at 4230 Galewood St., Lake Oswego) and bring a toy or gift card for a child who really needs it.
