Rocky Top Hospitality Co-Hosts Downtown Raleigh’s Premier New Year’s Eve Party
North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences’ Nature Research Center Partners with Rocky Top Hospitality to Host Gourmet New Year’s Eve Gala
Raleigh, NC, December 13, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dean Ogan, owner of Rocky Top Hospitality, has announced that the Triangle’s favorite catering company, Rocky Top Catering, and The Daily Planet Café, located inside the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science, will partner with museum’s Nature Research Center to host downtown Raleigh’s premier New Year’s Eve gala. Guests will ring in 2014 in style with a black tie optional celebration running from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Each wing of the museum, including The Daily Planet Café, will showcase a bevy of culinary artistry, including unique hors d’oeuvres, local craft beer tastings, decadent dessert displays, premium liquors and wines, specialty cocktails, with food stations on each floor.
Among the featured dishes revelers will enjoy are crab-stuffed mushrooms with cilantro remoulade; chicken and waffle sliders with goat cheese, leek and local honey, duck confit on crispy wonton with mango glaze and micro greens; charcuterie display with local smoked and cured meats, with tapenades, toasts and assorted mustards; and a chilled seafood display featuring oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail and hand-sliced lox. Entertainment will change throughout the night, highlighting some of the Triangle’s local favorites, including DJ Mike Morse, The Bernie Pettaway Jazz trio and Crush, playing classic hits and today’s top 40 music.
