Arthur Murray Tampa Dance Centers is holding its annual Holiday Ball on December 21, 2013. The all-inclusive tickets provide dinner, wine bar, Live music by the Crescendo Amelia Band, as well as dancing and performances.

The 4,000 square foot studio will be bursting with holiday joy on December 21, 2013 as Arthur Murray Tampa presents the annual Holiday Ball. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening filled with dinner, dancing, live music and wine. The holidays are a very hectic time for most people. Arthur Murray Tampa Dance Centers is hosting this party to help ease the stress of the holiday hustle and bustle. The Crescendo Amelia Band will add a special touch to the normal recorded music heard all season. Nowadays it is a rare occurrence to have an outstanding live band at a holiday party. Arthur Murray Tampa is owned and operated since 2008 by the Barry Sisters: Michelle and Loraine. The Barry Sisters were born in Dublin, Ireland and moved to the United States in 2008. Although they now call Tampa Bay home, it’s obvious they are Irish the moment you meet. With beautiful blonde hair and adorable accents, you can’t help but find yourself captivated by their company. Michelle Barry’s eyes light up while describing dancing and the benefits. She loves seeing what dancing does for people. It affects people in different ways and it can transform lives. Dancing is a wonderful way to reignite romance into a marriage as well as a fun escape from the stress of the corporate world. Michelle describes dancing as “a beautiful form of therapy.”
Dancing is much more than a pastime to the Barry Sisters. They have been dancing since they were toddlers and have won several national and international championships. A few of the many titles Michelle has won include European, International, Open British, United States, and Irish Champion. Michelle doesn’t let her international fame get to her head. She is down to earth with a brilliant personality. Loraine has won titles of her own including World, European, International, Open British, and Irish Champion, among many others. Loraine has moved on from competing and now tours the world teaching up-and-coming professionals how to perfect the art of ballroom dancing. She also judges many international competitions. Michelle has also retired from competing and now shares her love for dancing in Tampa Bay through the Arthur Murray Dance Centers.
Arthur Murray Tampa Dance Centers holds a Holiday Ball each year and this year it falls on December 21, 2013. Tickets include a showcase of both Freestyle and Solo dancing from 2pm-6pm, where both students and professionals will be displaying their best dances at the Holiday Ball. From 7:30pm-10:30pm there will be a full sit-down dinner with an open wine bar. When guests are finished eating, there will be a Live performance by the Crescendo Amelia Band from St. Augustine. Guests are welcomed and encouraged to dance with their partner or with one of the professionals in attendance.
