LiquorTroll.com Helps Local Consumers Find the Best Deals on Popular Liquor Brands in Greater Seattle
Seattle, WA, December 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- With Christmas and New Year’s parties fast approaching, liquor retail sales are expected to spike as they do every year. But a newer challenge for consumers is finding the best deals on liquor since prices in Washington now vary by store. LiquorTroll.com is a new (and free) online tool that makes it easy to find up-to-date prices on liquor from major retailers in Washington State.
LiquorTroll, LLC was founded by three friends, Etan Basseri, Rick Negrin and Joshua Willner, following the 2012 privatization of Washington State retail liquor sales. With the disappearance of the Washington State Liquor Control Board’s database for liquor inventory and prices, the three looked to fill the information void and provide a single point of reference for consumers.
According to Willner, “As we were analyzing the price data, we realized that prices for a given product could vary by a margin upwards of 20%. We knew that price-savvy consumers would want access to that type of information quickly and easily, and that’s what we’ve built. Oh, and Costco isn’t always the cheapest.”
“This is all about solving a simple problem with a simple solution,” says Basseri. “All you do is verify your age, allow the browser to grab your location, and search for your product. Don’t see what you want? Ping us and let us know.”
Plans to expand the selection of brands and retail locations are currently in the works, as is development of mobile apps for iOS, Android and Windows Phone in time for Christmas. To be notified of when the apps become available, “like” them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter @liquortroll. You can also reach them at info@liquortroll.com with any questions or comments.
