PROCECO Expands its Facility to Meet Increasing Demand for Integrated Cleaning Systems
Leading North American parts washer manufacturer, PROCECO Ltd., is expanding its manufacturing facilities to meet the increasing demand for highly customized cleaning and surface treatment systems.
Montreal, Canada, December 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Leading North American parts washer manufacturer, PROCECO Ltd., is currently expanding its manufacturing facility in Montreal, Canada to meet the increasing demand for its parts washers and surface treatment systems.
“The decision to expand was prompted by the ever-increasing demand for integrated cleaning and surface-treatment systems required by the markets we serve (automotive, aerospace, and heavy equipment). Likewise, the company is facing new opportunities for its complimentary technologies such as wet abrasive (slurry) blasting and wastewater treatment,” explained Robert Burns, PROCECO’s President.
The groundbreaking for expansion occurred in July and work is expected to be completed in January 2014. The facility expansion is designed to optimize the already-existing “heavy manufacturing bays” by relocating the storage and light manufacturing zones, as well as incorporating a new “clean area” for functional and factory testing of finished product.
“The new layout will significantly improve work-flow, worker security, and industry demands for higher levels of cleanliness. The team has also considered enhancements to ensure our commitment to our ISO 14000 Environmental Policy,” said Burns.
Since 1975, PROCECO has been designing and manufacturing a wide range of aqueous parts washers, slurry blast cleaning machinery, high-pressure water deburring systems, and automated immersion lines for surface treatment processes. PROCECO also offers industrial wastewater treatment systems to complement their water-based parts cleaning or surface finishing applications.
