Dead Ninja Records CEO Kaydean Undergoes Emergency Appendectomy
Dead Ninja Records CEO and producer Kaydean was admitted into the hospital earlier this week for an emergency appendectomy.
New York, NY, September 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Kaydean’s first symptoms of appendicitis began late at night during a recording session with rapper Quin.c, who was working on his debut album “Money and Transportation,” scheduled for an early 2008 release. Kaydean continued to work through the session and almost lost consciousness from the intense pain. Quin.c offered to take Kaydean to the hospital and he initially refused to go. 12 hours later, when the pain did not subside, both Quin.c and fellow Dead Ninja recording artist, Janid rushed Kaydean to the emergency room.
Doctors diagnosed appendicitis upon Kaydean’s arrival at Long Island Jewish Hospital and Dr. Gary Gecelter performed emergency surgery only a few hours later. The surgery was successful and luckily, Kaydean’s appendicitis was caught at a very early stage. Kaydean is currently recovering at home in New York.
