Hatchet Caye Resort Announces the Winner of Its First Ever Facebook Photo Contest
Placencia, Belize, December 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Hatchet Caye Resort started their first ever month long Facebook photo contest on November 14th, 2013.
Hatchet Caye Resort would like to express their gratitude to all the entrants for their participation in it's contest. They hope everyone had fun and enjoyed the competition. The winning photo, which was submitted by Sarah Biggs, was a lovely picture of her and her husband. She accumulated a total of 104 votes over the past month and won!
Each entrant included a comment detailing why they wanted to win a stay at Hatchet Caye Resort and Sarah's was as follows... "We would like this island vacation so that we are able to have a honeymoon. It has been a dream for both of us to have our honeymoon at a tropical destination where we could do all sorts of adventurous activities as we begin our life together. This once in a lifetime trip would be the perfect way to begin our lives together.." So there will be a honeymoon at Hatchet Caye soon!
Mrs. Sarah Biggs has won the grand prize of a four nights stay for two in an ocean front room. This includes boat transfers to Hatchet Caye Resort and a guided half day tour at Silk Caye Marine Reserve. While there they can also enjoy kayaking, taking out the pedal boats or Hobie cats, or taking a dip in the pool. They can snorkel all day and night if they wish as the pier is lit for night viewing of the rays, squid and other marine life teeming in the waters surrounding the Caye.
