Kruz Media Productions Announces Faith-Based Feature Film, “Home Field”
Project to be Funded Through Kickstarter, Filmed in Greater Atlanta Metro Area
Atlanta, GA, December 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Kruz Media Productions, an Atlanta-based independent entertainment media production company, announced today that they will begin production on a faith-based feature film called “Home Field.”
“Home Field” will detail the life of Charlie Reed, a former NFL player and current high school coach who is facing the most daunting battle off his life off the field, while helping to shape the lives and futures of the young men on his team on the field.
Actor Nadji Jeter, of “Grown Ups” and “Grown Ups 2” as well as BET’s “Reed Between the Lines,” is attached to star in “Home Field” as Terry Woodson, one of Coach Reed’s players, whose family is experiencing difficulties to which many viewers will be able to relate.
“Home Field” is a small-budget, independent production, and will be funded exclusively through Kickstarter. There are rewards for contributors at every level, and those who wish to contribute financially can do so in any amount. Through this process, Kruz Media Productions will ensure that this film remains a “people’s project.”
This motion picture will be filmed exclusively in the greater Atlanta metro area. Smashburger, a local restaurant, has partnered with Kruz Media Productions to serve as a location for the film, and also will serve as a brand partner in the marketing campaign for the film.
Kruz Media Productions has secured the support of local athletes and coaches, from the high school level to professionals, who will serve as ambassadors for the project. These ambassadors are using their star power to raise awareness of the film and the funding process. The process of bringing “Home Field” to the screen is truly a community effort.
