Employee Solutions Donate $10,500 Worth of Gifts to Children's Advocacy Center Toy Store
This year's donations by Employee Solutions topped 2012 gifts by nearly 20 percent.
Plano, TX, December 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- With local toy donations lower due to the recent ice storm that hit North Texas, the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County was beginning to worry about meeting the holiday demand. Fortunately, the children will have more toys under this year's Christmas tree, thanks to Employee Solutions and its clients.
In spite of the weather and determined to help the abused and neglected children served by the Center have a nice Christmas, Employee Solutions, a leading provider of custom staffing services for light industrial, administrative, and call center companies, was able to collect and deliver gifts worth $10,500 to the Center. That is almost 20 percent higher than the donation from the company and its clients in 2012.
Employees at the company's 12 offices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and in Austin, Houston, and Tulsa provided much of the donated toys, electronic gifts, and cash, while generous clients accounted for the rest. Employee Solutions matched client donations dollar-for-dollar, and also added donations based on the number of new fans for its Facebook page. Employee Solutions bought more gifts with the cash donations and drove four vehicles full of toys and gifts to the Center on December 11.
