Ayanbadejo brothers looking forward to upcoming season in Chicago
Chicago, IL, September 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Brothers Brendon and Femi Ayanbadejo, who are now both on the Chicago Bears roster, have signed on with Miami-based public relations firm, Momentum Sports PR.
Brendon, a linebacker who joined the Bears in 2005, was selected to the Pro Bowl as a member of the special teams unit in 2006 after an impressive season that helped take the Bears to Super Bowl XLII. That year, he was also named Pro Football Weekly/ Pro Football Writers Association All-NFL and All-NFC. Prior to Chicago, Brendon played two seasons with the Miami Dolphins, where he was named an alternate to the Pro Bowl in 2004 and 2005 while picking up All-Pro honors from ESPN.com and Sports Illustrated. He graduated from UCLA, where he was a first team All-Pac10 his senior year and helped the Bruins earn a berth in the Rose Bowl.
Femi, a 9-year veteran fullback, signed a one year contract with the Bears in Spring, 2007. This will mark the second time he will play on the same team as his younger brother; the two previously played on the Miami Dolphins in 2003. Before signing with the Dolphins, Femi played for the Baltimore Ravens and was a part of the Super Bowl XXXV championship team. Femi, whose name is short for his given name “Obafemi”, played fullback at San Diego State University where he graduated.
The Ayanbadejo brothers recently opened their doors to the world, launching an online reality series produced by Soze Productions. The webisodes, which feature an all-access look at their off-the-field lives, can be found on www.BearsBrothers.com each Sunday and Thursday during the season.
