St. Louis Business to Hold Second Annual Young Entrepreneur Contest
goBRANDgo! will provide free resources to lucky winner for one year.
St. Louis, MO, December 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Go!-celerator, a program born out of the entrepreneurially-minded branding and marketing company goBRANDgo!, is offering one start-up company free resources for 12 months.
Interested start-up companies must enter by Feb. 1, 2014 to qualify for the go!-celerator program, which includes a year of free housing, office space, mentoring and additional benefits. goBRANDgo!’s program provides a young entrepreneur, or team of entrepreneurs, born after 1984 all of the necessary backing to ensure the company’s success and solid foundation. This includes more than $50,000 of resources provided by goBRANDgo! with no exchange of equity. This is the second year that this program has been in existence.
Young entrepreneurs with an innovative approach to their industry are encouraged to submit a 60-second video explaining their vision. Six semi-finalists are selected for the next round, while the three finalists will be selected by judges and advance to the final round.
The go!-celerator’s 2012 inaugural class featured Axcio, formerly known as HCP United. Axcio is reimagining the healthcare supply chain through an integrated e-dispensary platform designed for healthcare providers to deliver more affordable care. St. Louis native Nick Turner and his partner Quinn Worden of Tyngsboro, Mass. founded Axcio as students at Miami University. After graduation, the go!-celerator program was an opportunity for the two 24-year-olds to regroup and conquer their business together.
“The inaugural go!-celerator class brought two entrepreneurs together from across the country, allowing them to focus on building their business together for the first time,” says Derek Weber, president of goBRANDgo!.
The idea for the go!-celerator came when Derek Weber and Brandon Dempsey began reflecting on their own start-up experience. The duo, who founded goBRANDgo! after both launching entrepreneurial ventures in their early twenties, understand the struggles of starting out on their own and look to empower one entrepreneur with all of the resources they both lacked.
goBRANDgo! is a strategic branding and marketing firm that works with $1 to $15 million entrepreneurs.
