New Tower Defense Game with Randomized Item Drops Seeks Funding via Kickstarter

Los Angeles, CA, December 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Burst2Flame Entertainment LLC to launch RiftWalker TD (http://kck.st/1bY5ulv) on PC and iOS, a tower defense game in which the player sets out to find and equip items to help rid the galaxy from an enemy infestation. A large portion of the game involves battling foes in order to acquire specific items to make the player’s personal strategy more effective. Depending on the frequency of use, towers can also gain experience which allow additional items to be equipped. The development team describes this indie game as “Tower defense meets dungeon crawler.”

RiftWalker TD consists of a sci-fi themed experience where the player strives to defend his base from incoming intruders. The game includes 3 modes of difficulty and 25+ diverse maps that become progressively more challenging. New enemies with varying abilities are introduced as the player advances through the game.

The player can obtain items either by defeating foes or by using earned credits to purchase them from a randomized vendor. Items consist of 4 possible types: Common, Rare, Set, and Legendary.

So far, the developers are half way through development and require additional funding to produce a polished, complete game .
