Winner of Second Cheese Making Adventure Package
Belmopan, Belize, December 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch Jungle Lodge has completed their Second Cheese Making Adventure Facebook contest. After a month of competition Caves Branch is pleased to announce the winner for the Cheese making adventure package for two persons is no other than Kay Johnson from San Jose Succotz, Cayo District.
The contest ran from November 15th to December 16th, 2013. Contestants were required to submit a picture of their favorite cheese and write a description of why it’s their favorite cheese in order to participate. They would then have to share their entry with friends and encourage as many people as possible to vote for their photo so that they could make it into the top 3. At the end of the contest there were a total of 19 entries and 2027 votes had been cast, with Kay Johnson, Rebecca Coutant, and Delsia Marsden being the top three contestant who would be considered for the fabulous prize. Their photos and descriptions were then reviewed and the judging panel from Caves Branch Jungle Lodge felt that Kay Johnson had the best submission of the 3 and was awarded the victory.

Cheese Making Adventures… 3 and one half full days of cheese making workshop instruction, hands on cheese making, all required literature, materials and equipment with instruction by Larry and Linda Faillace, master cheese makers from Three Shepherds Farm in Warren, Vermont. Students will take their cheesemaking and cheese marketing skills to the next level, focusing on more complex cheese making techniques.
To our two other finalist, Rebecca Coutant of San Pedro and Delsia Marsden of Belmopan we would like to offer them a very special discount of 50% off on either the Artisan or Advance Cheese Making Workshops.
