Michael M. Pacheco was born in Mexico but grew up in the Pacific Northwest. He earned his BA from Gonzaga University and his Juris Doctorate from Willamette University. He is now a retired attorney. His stories have appeared in numerous journals and literary magazines. In 2012, his novel, The Guadalupe Saints won second place in the ILBA Books-to-Movies Awards and his novella, Seeking Tierra Santa, won Honorable Mention in the adventure/drama category of the 2013 International Latino Book Awards.
