Dallas, TX, September 25, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Whimsical Stork, LLC announces the launch of its unique Sip & See Stork rental as well as new line of handmade and monogrammed burp cloths and baby blankets.

When Julia Hall (an attorney) and Mary Lee Sprung (a physical therapist) each had two children in two years, they knew that returning to their demanding careers would not allow them to spend the time they wanted with their young children. Seeking a creative and challenging outlet that would allow Hall and Sprung the flexibility they needed, The Whimsical Stork, LLC opened for business in January of 2007. At first, The Whimsical Stork, LLC offered new baby stork rentals; however, as business grew, Hall and Sprung added children's birthday sign rentals, baby shower rentals, and handmade stuffed bunnies. Today, they are thrilled to continue the expansion with the addition of handmade and monogrammed burp cloths and baby blankets.

"Starting a business has been such a learning experience" says Hall. "From building our own website to deciding on marketing strategies, we have gained confidence in starting something completely outside of our prior experience and knowledge." Sprung agrees. "I never knew that painting in my garage at midnight could be so much fun. It is amazing what creative outlets you find when your time is limited. I can't wait to see where this goes next."
