"The Simpsons" Earns No. 1 Position as Most Frequently Generated Television Series on Random Episode Generator for 2013
Amsterdam, Netherlands, January 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- It looks like Homer takes the cake. This year, the winner of the most generated episodes on Random Episode Generator is the hit television series “The Simpsons.” “The Simpsons” received the highest number of views on Random Episode Generator, followed by “Friends” in second place and “How I Met Your Mother” in third. Other top television series included “South Park,” “Family Guy,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Seinfeld,” “Doctor Who,” “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Supernatural.”
“Last year ‘Friends’ was the top television series, followed by ‘Family Guy’ and ‘How I Met Your Mother.’ ‘The Simpsons’ actually came in fourth,” said Matthijs de Graaf, founder of Random Episode Generator. “It is interesting to see how the show’s rankings have changed from 2012 to 2013, even though the list of the top 10 shows did not alter much.”
For instance, “The Office” and “Futurama” made the top 10 list in 2012 but were replaced by the shows “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Supernatural” in 2013. The rankings may change once again in 2014, as both new and old shows are continually added to the system.
“It is incredible to see what a loyal following we have,” said de Graaf. “I am happy we can help our visitors decide what episodes to watch.”
