Underfloor Heating Store CEO Named as Official Government Advisor

Essex, United Kingdom, January 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Michael Lewis, the CEO and founder of The Underfloor Heating Store, the UK’s biggest online underfloor heating company, is delighted to have been named as an official advisor to the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills for a new education campaign.

The ‘Make Your Future Happen: Discover Higher Education’ initiative was launched to encourage people of all ages to consider the benefits and value of university-level courses. It involved a week of UK-wide promotional activities and events in October of this year and will continue into 2014.

Michael, who started The Underfloor Heating Store in 2008 with his brother Steven, is a firm believer in getting a solid education. They encourage their employees to challenge themselves, and provide the means for them to continue studying at a higher level, either in a part-time capacity or in an open learning environment.

The announcement comes at the end of a landmark year for the firm, during which it was awarded a ‘Made in Britain’ prize at the Smarta 100 Business Awards and was listed in the Sunday Times’ prestigious Fast Track 100 table.

Speaking about his appointment, Michael said:
