Brian Alfaro Granted STEER Award for Safety
San Antonio, TX, January 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On Dec. 11 the South Texas Energy Economic Roundtable (STEER) awarded the 2013 Eagle Ford Excellence Award to Brian Alfaro. In a San Antonio Business Journal interview the President of STEER, Omar Garcia, said, “The Eagle Ford Excellence Award recipients set the standard for good corporate citizenship, and STEER is honored to provide a forum to recognize companies that make this a priority.”
Alfaro, the successful founder of Alfaro Energy, was presented a STEER Award for his continued commitment to employee safety.
This recognition comes at a time of great excitement for Brian Alfaro, who plans to drill several new wells in the Eagle Ford Shale in 2014, developing even more jobs for Texans. While drilling is projected to grow this year, the safety of Alfaro's employees in the field remains a priority. Alfaro plans to further implement safety protocols as he drills more wells in the Eagle Ford, ensuring the health of his employees as he taps the vast reserves of oil and natural gas in the shale.
Alfaro was also considered as a finalist for the Community and Social Investment STEER Award for his belief in the “gospel of wealth”— sharing his good fortune with an unwavering dedication to local charities. Alfaro donates time and money to charities such as the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Family Violence Prevention Services, the Boys and Girls Club, and the Special Olympics. As Alfaro continues to expand his significant presence in the Eagle Ford Shale, he is committed to being a good corporate citizen—going beyond the call of duty for the betterment of his employees and community.
