Hundreds of Toys Collected for Foster Children

Portland, OR, January 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Kids -- from infants to teens -- enter foster care with few or no possessions. They’re away from everything familiar, and the holiday season can be particularly hard. While foster parents are paid a monthly stipend, those funds are totally insufficient to meet all of the needs of a growing child.

With that in mind, several Oregon law firms and lawyers banded together to hold a toy drive, and make the holidays a little brighter for local foster children.

Hundreds of toys were collected, along with several hundred dollars in gift cards, for the Sleep Train Secret Santa Toy Drive for Foster Kids.
