Lyon Superchargers Confirms New Beijing Offices
Lyon Superchargers announce new administrative office to open in Beijing, expanding their presence in Asia.
Kowloon, Hong Kong S.A.R., January 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Lyon Superchargers, Inc., a rapidly-expanding Quebec, Canada-based manufacturer of pioneering, next-generation rechargeable energy retention solutions for commercial applications with a satellite office in Hong Kong, today confirmed that it will open a permanent office in Beijing, China in January 2014.
The new office will house administrative personnel and a new innovation center which will draw on local expertise to help drive development of the leading edge energy storage solutions that have become synonymous with the Lyon Superchargers brand.
"The new Beijing office will represent the embodiment of the firm commitment Lyon Superchargers are making to our esteemed customers in and around the Asia Pacific region and also serve to strengthen our competitive effort as we seek to increase our foothold in what is one of the most promising markets in the world," said Andrew Richardson, President of Lyon Superchargers at an alternative energy symposium in Shanghai.
Lyon Superchargers says the office will enable it to take advantage of what it believes will be a growing trend toward the adoption of cleaner-running electric and hybrid vehicles in the world’s most populous country as the problem of atmospheric pollution worsens. The company also expects competition between electronics manufacturers in the region will create further demand for the company’s lithium-ion products.
It is hoped that the new location combined with the introduction of the company’s latest flexible battery cells will address the falling profit margins that have become the norm when supplying batteries for smartphones and tablet computers owing to increased competition from locally-based manufacturers who can produce the cells far more cheaply.
