Sports Authority will sponsor 13 "Weekly Stat" and three miniseries segments on Mission Makeover, a health and wellness series that helps women transform their lives
Pompano Beach, FL, January 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Balancing Act’s® Mission Makeover™ series airing on Lifetime® TV is pleased to announce that Sports Authority, one of the largest full-line sporting goods retailers in the United States, will sponsor 13 “Weekly Stat” segments and a three-part miniseries during Season 3 of the hit health and wellness makeover series.
The 13-week Mission Makeover™ series, slated to begin airing in February 2014, follows the journey of six women on the mission of a lifetime–to completely makeover their lives through better health and wellness. “Weekly Stat” segments, powered by Sports Authority, will keep viewers updated on the number of pounds and inches each team member has lost from week to week throughout the entire journey.
Sports Authority will sponsor a three-part miniseries focused on assisting the Mission Makeover™ Team Ladies in achieving their fitness goals in these episodes: “Getting Equipped for the Journey,” where the team will be outfitted with apparel and footwear provided by Sports Authority; “Game On! Family Fitness Is Fun!” will discover activities the whole family can enjoy, and Sports Authority will provide equipment for the families to have fun and stay active like basketball, baseball, soccer, biking and kayaking; and The “Finale/Reveal” will showcase the dramatic makeovers our ladies have achieved, with the winner receiving a prize package from Sports Authority.
