Local Boating and Golf Community’s Golf Club to Work with Property Owners Association to Continue Management and Improvements at Harbour Pointe
New Bern, NC, January 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Fairfield Harbour, a residential boating and golf community located 15 minutes from historic New Bern, announced the Fairfield Harbour Property Owners Association (POA) will partner with Billy Casper Golf (BCG), owner or operator of more than 150 golf facilities in 28 states, in its management of Harbour Pointe Golf Club to ensure the club’s success as a resort-style 18-hole, par 72, championship course. Together, BCG and the Fairfield Harbour POA will keep Harbour Pointe maintained at top quality and encourage all visitors to utilize the picturesque course and facilities.
BCG, who has built one of the most successful operating platforms for managing golf courses in the golf industry, began managing Harbour Pointe in May 2011. Since that time, BCG representatives have made tremendous improvements to the course conditions, including retrofitting the irrigation system, upgrading the irrigation pump stations, working on bunkers and renovating the clubhouse to serve as a central social gathering place for property owners, members and guests.
BCG also oversees all aspects of Harbour Pointe operation, including golf course and property maintenance, sales, marketing and public relations, staffing and training, merchandising, restaurant and banquet activities, financial management, golf instruction and special events.
To update all current and potential members on the continued successful management of Harbour Pointe, BCG will host a members meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. at the golf course pro shop.
