Denver, CO, January 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Colorado BioScience Association (CBSA) will host the sixth annual “BioScience Day at the Capitol” on Thursday, January 23rd, 7:30-11:00 a.m. at the Capitol Building in the Old Supreme Court Chambers (200 E. Colfax Ave., Denver, 80203). The session will bring together industry leaders and legislators to review and discuss key legislative issues, both on the state and federal levels, affecting the growth of the bioscience industry in Colorado.

The announcement is made by April Giles, CBSA President and CEO, who says “2014 is a very important year for the bioscience industry in Colorado. We have several major policy issues to address in additional to the legislation we are supporting. We look forward to a very active session and working to engage our industry and the state legislature.”

This session CBSA and Colorado Cleantech Industries Association (CCIA) are initiating the 2014 Colorado Advanced Industry Investment Income Tax Credit legislation to encourage private sector investment and create jobs for Colorado’s Advanced Industry Sectors.
