Alfaro Energy Sponsors the American Heart Association

San Antonio, TX, January 23, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Heart disease is the number-one cause of death in America, killing an average of 600,000 people every year according to the Center for Disease Control. The American Heart Association aims to improve cardiovascular health through awareness campaigns and events.

On Saturday, Feb. 8 the Red Run for Women will take place in San Antonio at the Shops at La Cantera. Proceeds from the event will go towards local research and awareness programs.

Alfaro Energy will be sponsoring this event, helping to spread heart-health awareness to women in the San Antonio community. Each year 28 percent of all deaths in San Antonio can be attributed to poor heart health—Alfaro Energy is teaming up with the American Heart Association to save lives and reduce deaths from heart disease.
