Ye!! Conferred 2013 Hong Kong Emerging Brand Awards

Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong S.A.R., January 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Ye!! (pronounced as yell), a reputable brand of external power bank, portable bluetooth speaker and mobile accessories, was conferred 2013 Hong Kong Emerging Brand by the Hong Kong Brand Development Council and the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong. To foster a brand culture among the industries, the BDC and CMA organized the fourth “Hong Kong Emerging Brand Awards.” The Awards aim to give recognition to up-and-coming young brands aged not more than 8 years. The Final Judging was conducted under the chairmanship of Mr Wong Ho-yuen, Andrew, JP, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Commerce, Industry and Tourism), Hong Kong SAR Government. Members of Final Judging Panel comprised Mr Simon Wong, Vice Chairman of the BDC; Mr Eric Ng, President of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business; Mr. Ir C S Ho, Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency; Prof Matthew K O Lee, Chair Professor of Information Systems & Electronic Commerce and Director of Communications & Public Relations of City University of Hong Kong.

During the Final Judging, the panelists interviewed the shortlisted entries and gave them ratings based on six major elements, ie. Reputation (Hong Kong, Mainland & Overseas), Distinctiveness, Innovation, Quality, Image, and Environmental Performance and Social Responsibility. Ye!! has exhibited impressive performance in respect of the six major elements mentioned above. Through rigorous selection, Ye!! has won the “Hong Kong Emerging Brand Awards.”

The Presentation Ceremony will be held on the evening of February 13 2014 at Convention Hall, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, to be officiated by Financial Secretary The Honorable John Tsang, GBM, JP and other officials of Hong Kong SAR Government. Ye!!’s winning product will be showcased at the Council’s Design Gallery at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 13 February to 20 February.
