MindMeister Releases Major Update of Mind Mapping App for Android
MindMeister, the market-leading web-based mind mapping and brainstorming solution, just released version 2.3 of its native Android app.
Munich, Germany, January 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Following the recent relaunch of MindMeister’s online solution, MeisterLabs, the company behind MindMeister, today released a major update for its native Android app. MindMeister for Android complements the cloud-based web app and allows users to mind map on the go, syncing their maps in real-time.
The new version 2.3, available in the Google Play Store as of now, offers a number of major new features, first and foremost Presentation Mode, which lets users play slideshows and thus present their maps directly on their mobile Android device. A second crucial addition is the map export, allowing mind mappers to choose between nine different export options. Other new features include support for inline images and attachments, as well as the greatly anticipated options of logging in via Facebook, Twitter, Google, OpenID and Unilogin.
“We’re very satisfied with this update,” says MeisterLabs Managing Director Michael Hollauf. “For a long time our Android app was a bit of a neglected sideact, always a little behind its iOS counterpart. Now it’s quickly catching up, with the newly added Presentation Mode being the first major step in that direction. Additionally, a number of enhancements make for an overall smoother and more pleasing user experience. The user interface as well as performance were improved, and a new quick action menu now ensures a simple and time saving editing of topics.
