Family Lawyer Jessica A. Pritchard Receives Bucks County Bar Association Award
Partner at Williams Family Law honored with President’s Award for service to county bar association.
Doylestown, PA, January 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Jessica A. Pritchard, a partner at Williams Family Law, P.C., recently was honored with a 2013 Bucks County Bar Association President’s Award in recognition of her dedication and service to the 825-member association.
The President’s Award recognizes attorneys who advance the professional and educational missions of the bar association. Outgoing president Brian T. McGuffin, Esq. presented the award to Pritchard in December 2013 at the Bucks County Bar Association’s annual dinner.
“Every time I asked Jessica to do something this year, she stepped right up, and she is also very active in the community,” McGuffin said. “She’s a very fine lawyer and an even better person. In short, she gets stuff done and is a great credit to the bar association.”
Pritchard has been a member of the Bucks County Bar Association since becoming an attorney in 1999, and also sits on the board of directors and the Bench Bar Conference Committee. In 2013, she organized monthly CLE lunch meetings, many addressing topics specific to the practice of law in Bucks County. Pritchard chairs the Family Law Section, which, under her leadership, has grown into one of the most active groups within the association.
“I am surprised and very pleased to have been chosen to receive the President’s Award from the Bucks County Bar Association, an organization rich with history and talent,” said Pritchard. “I look forward to carrying this momentum into 2014 as we continue to develop our chapter, especially in the area of family law.”
Pritchard focuses her practice on family law, handling all phases of the negotiation and litigation of domestic relations cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony/spousal support, equitable distribution, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
Since 2006, Pritchard has been consistently chosen by her peers to be recognized by Thomson Reuters as a “Pennsylvania Rising Star,” an honor earned by only 2.5 percent of attorneys in the commonwealth. She also is a frequent speaker on a variety of family law topics and is an active member of several professional and charitable organizations, including serving on the board of directors of the Lenape Valley Foundation.
