Preceptel Chooses SysPay as Omni-Channel Payment Solution for Its NG Taxi Software Platform
NG Taxi’s customer taxi companies can now enjoy use of a global payment system: physical, internet and mobile.
Paris, France, January 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- SysPay, a financial institution specialising in payment methods, has announced that it has agreed a partnership with Preceptel, which produces innovative industry solutions like NG Taxi, a global taxi fare booking and distribution system. This agreement will provide Preceptel with access to SysPay’s omni-channel payment platform to add to its NG Taxi services.

At the point at which telecoms and IT come together, Preceptel provides companies with turnkey solutions by using all communication networks (fixed line, mobile, internet, satellite etc.). Its NG Taxi solution, which is one of the most successful and economic available, provides both small and large taxi companies with various functionalities based around a system of fare allocations made vocally or digitally (with or without using call centres).
NG Taxi is a SaaS-based global solution, which, as well as its entire software environment, provides its customers with a touch screen mobile Android terminal interfaced with EMA Streams, a device which combines the strength and service quality of an on-board system with the flexibility and user-friendliness of a Smartphone. However, receiving payment from taxi customers continued to be highly problematic as, until now, Preceptel had not found a totally comprehensive payment solution, which was able to deal with physical payments made by customers picked up in town, single bookings made via the internet and contracts over periods with invoicing.
“The purpose of our NG Taxi solution is to provide customers with a turnkey service which simplifies their work as much as possible on a day-to-day basis,” says Preceptel’s managing director, José Martinez. “To make our system truly global, we needed to integrate a comprehensive payment platform, suitable to respond to the complexity of the taxi driver sector. SysPay, the “triple play” system of payment methods
To meet the needs of Preceptel with regard to receiving payment, SysPay is providing it with its entire omni-channel payment platform which will easily fit into the NG Taxi system by using a single API.
Practically speaking, taxi drivers will now have an electronic payment terminal (EPT) run by the NG Taxi application as a simple way of taking physical payments from customers, whether they have stopped the taxi in the street or whether they have booked it on the internet. Direct payment on NG Taxi customer websites will also be processed by SysPay.
In addition, an electronic wallet system known as an e-wallet is soon to be made available so that customers using taxis fitted with the NG Taxi’s system will be able to pay their fares quickly and easily in “1 click” mode via a mobile app. Companies which are customers of taxi operators, meanwhile, will be able to settle their invoices just as quickly due to the inclusion of a “1 click” button on the PDF format invoices themselves (service operational Q1 2014).
