James Rhys Releases First Book in His Action Thriller Potomac Book Club Series: "America’s Bin Laden"
Seattle, WA, January 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Pacific Northwest author, Jams Rhys is pleased to announce the release of his new action thriller novel, "America's Bin Laden." This is the first book in the new "Potomac Book Club" series from Mr. Rhys.
In the times when most would seek refuge, the most unlikely among us become our heroes. 5 women find themselves in a life and death struggle against radical Islamists, who are bent on jihad to perfect a caliphate in the United States. Sharon Stokes a retired police detective, Shirley Garrett a retired judge, Karen Rogers a retired doctor and 2 housewives Linda Smith and Barbara Greyburn, take risks so great that most brave men would falter. Book two of the Potomac Book Club series is entitled "Operation Gun Runner" and book three is "Chinese T.E.A. Connection." Both are scheduled for release in early 2014. All three books are a mix of current events with a fictional action/thriller storyline.

About The Author:
James Rhys was born in 1947 in Portland Oregon and raised in Southern Oregon. He attended Southern Oregon University for one year before enlisting in the Army in 1968. After 3 years, he came back to S.O.U and finished his education with a Masters in Criminology 1972.He spent 12 years as a Police Detective in Southern Oregon until an injury on the beat forced him to leave the department. He worked in the oil fields for a few years in Alaska before starting his security business in Spokane WA. After 18 years operating Argus Security Inc. and over 2000 employees in 8 states he sold the company.
James purchased the Santa Anita Lodge on the Rogue River in 2004, remodeled it and then rebuilt it after a devastating fire. After a few years of retirement, he started a golf manufacturing company and began writing suspense novels regarding current events. He says the two highlights of his life is marrying his wife and running the largest security company in the west at the time.
