Small Business Assoication (SBA) Loan Workshop
The SBA will host a loan workshop on Thursday, February 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. at your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce. The workshop is open to individuals interested in starting a small business, as well as individuals who are already in business.
Kingsport, TN, January 26, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Small Business Association (SBA) will host a loan workshop on Thursday, February13 from 2 to 4 p.m. at your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce. The event is co-sponsored by the Kingsport Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) and Small Business Development Center ETSU – Kingsport Affiliate.
The workshop is open to individuals interested in starting a small business, as well as individuals who are already in business.
This interactive training will cover various topics, such as: resources available for small businesses to succeed; the “new normal” of lending; the latest on crowd funding; and most importantly, how to apply for an SBA Loan, including microloans from $5,000 to $25,000 for startup or expansion.
“We are going to cover so much more than the standard norm,” said Sue Malone, SBA Lender and one of three speakers at this event. “What I am really going to be speaking about are things which are useful and practical.”
Sue Malone is the number one SBA Loan Provider based on volume. She is a lender with Superior Financial of Danville, California. Malone is joined by Mary Hoen and Deborah S. Wagner. Hoen represents proactive SBA Microlender Pathway Lending. Wagner, Director of Community Economic Development for People, Incorporated Financial Services, is the newest authorized SBA Microlender serving Sullivan County.
