Plymouth Hair Salon Team “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer”
Plymouth, MA, September 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Elements the Salon of Plymouth is striving to stamp out breast cancer by sponsoring a team for the October 14th “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” Walk along the Charles River Esplanade to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Several of the salon’s staff will also participate in the walk with the Elements the Salon sponsored team.
In addition, Sue Casale, owner of Elements the Salon, will donate all of the proceeds from product sales during the week of October 8th to October 13th to the American Cancer Society. Customers who purchase hair products during that time will be eligible to enter into a raffle to win a gift basket full of Bumble & Bumble products and a gift certificate (a total value of $200).
“We feel very passionate about supporting the ACS. In addition to sponsoring the ‘Elements the Salon’ team, a few of our staffers will also join in the walk. Those from the salon who are not walking that day intend to do be on site to braid our team members’ hair, as well as other walkers’ hair if they want, before the walk begins. We’re really looking forward to this event and we are thankful for our families, friends and clients’ support,” noted Ms. Casale.
