The firm received "Metropolitan First-Tier Rankings" for 12 practice areas across four offices.

To determine these rankings, the publication surveyed thousands of law firm clients, leading lawyers and law firm managers, partners, associates, marketing officers and recruiting officers. Survey questions addressed the factors clients consider vital in hiring outside counsel, how lawyers select a firm when referring a legal matter, and the desirability of firms for lawyers seeking employment, among many other matters. Firms were ranked in 81 practice areas in 171 metropolitan areas and seven states.
