Nominations for Thailand Property Awards Over 260; McEvily & Collins Law Firm Become a Platinum Sponsor
The nomination stage of the awards has now closed and more than 260 companies have been nominated for the 13 awards on offer.
Bangkok, Thailand, September 29, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Organisers of the 2007 awards, Ensign Media Co. Ltd, and publishers of Property Report Thailand magazine, undertook a huge campaign contacting over 700 property professionals in Thailand seeking nominations for the 2007 awards. After email blasts, telephone and fax follow-ups, the total number of nominations exceeded all expectations.
Duncan Worthington, Managing Director of Ensign Media said; “We undertook a mammoth task to include as many of the industry as possible in the awards this year. Nomination forms were sent to people and businesses from different sectors in the property industry, including developers, agents, architects, interior designers and more. And each form was tailored to the recipient so developers would not be nominating developers and agents not nominating agents, and so on.”
“We are delighted with the response from the industry. All the hard work was worth it. But this is the end of only the first stage. Now we move into the second stage of the awards procedure where we request information from those companies nominated,” added Worthington.
The first stage of the award procedure closed on 31st August with over 260 companies nominated for awards in 13 categories. The second stage, which will start early October, will see the award organisers contact all the nominated companies and request them to submit information online. The deadline for submission of these materials is 20th October, after which judges will be given approximately three weeks to score all entrants.

The last award is voted for by the publishers of Property Report Thailand magazine.
