Athena PowerLink Celebrates the Start of Liz Dysert’s Business Mentoring in Nashville
The ATHENAPowerLink® Nashville kick-off event to celebrate the newly selected candidate, Liz Dysert, was held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Kraft CPAs in Nashville.
Nashville, TN, February 03, 2014 --(PR.com)-- ATHENA Powerlink is year-long business mentoring program that selects a female business owner each year and pairs her with a volunteer advisory committee that provides her with twelve months of ongoing mentorship.
Dysert, this year’s candidate, owns 5 Star Compliance of USA, a company based in Franklin, Tennessee that boasts more than 100 years of combined experience helping transportation companies navigate the treacherous and tedious landscape of tax and vehicle compliance.
The event also gave Ms. Dysert the opportunity to meet her team of advisors face to face, which included:

The experts on the Advisory Panel analyze the factors necessary for the candidate’s company to grow and then recommends actions to get it there.
The program began in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and has been helping women-owned businesses grow to the next level since 1999. The program has been presented in Nashville since 2007, serving six locally owned businesses so far.
The search for next year’s candidate is currently underway. Interested female business owners may visit the website at http://www.aplnashville.org to fill out the online application form and submit them to the governing body no later than March 1, 2014.
