Wellmont Community Conversation Series Update: Affordable Care Act Update
Kingsport, TN, February 05, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Joint Speakers Bureau, comprised of the Kingsport Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE), your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Development Center ETSU – Kingsport Affiliate, will host Wellmont Community Conversation Series: Affordable Care Act Update on Tuesday, February 18 from 4:30 to 5:30 P.m. at your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce.
The training is open to the public and companies interested in learning more about the Affordable Care Act. It also acts as an opportunity to meet Holston Valley Medical Center’s newly appointed Interim President, Tim Atteberry.
This question and answer forum will cover various topics, including: an update on the Affordable Care Act rules; how to apply for Affordable Care Act coverage; and local market trends in healthcare.
Aside from being recently named as the Interim President/CEO of Holston Valley Medical Center, Tim Atteberry spent six years as the System Vice President of Cardiovascular Services. He has 27 years of experience in healthcare consulting. Atteberry is also a published author, having written numerous articles pertaining to the healthcare field.
