Power Media, LLC Self-Syndicates with Raycom Media to Expand The Charla Young Show to New Markets -
Louisville, KY, February 06, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Charla Young Show expands beyond Louisville, Kentucky.
On January 3, 2014, Charla Young struck a self-syndication barter deal with Raycom Media that launches “The Charla Young Show” into 13 Raycom Media stations, including: Louisville, Ky (WAVE), Paducah, KY (KFVS), Toledo, OH (WTOL), Cincinatti, OH (WXIX), Memphis, TN (WMC-TV), Charlotte, NC (WBTV), Wilmington, NC (WECT, WSFX), Evansville, IN (WFIE), Norfolk, VA (WGNT), Richmond, VA (WUPV), Knoxville, TN (WTNZ), Columbia, SC (WIS-TV), and Albany, GA (WALB). Add to these Lexington, KY (WKYT-The CW), Tupleo, MS (WLOV) and Bowling Green, KY (WBKO) and that puts “The Charla Young Show” in 16 markets and 9 states.
“The Charla Young Show” has been airing in Louisville, Ky on WAVE-TV (a Raycom Media station) since January 2011. The weekly half hour talk show features real life stories of people who share stories of struggle, adversity and pain in a live studio audience and on location settings. Topics are meant to inspire, motivate and empower its viewing audience.
The show airs at various times on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday in the different markets.
“Our hope is that we can extend that number to an additional 30 plus markets by Fall 2014, and by Fall 2015— turn the show into a daily strip with national syndication,” Charla Young.
